Absolutely! I have a long history of supervising and mentoring SLP students, SLP assistants, and Clinical Fellows. Play & Say, LLC has hosted students from multiple universities, and I thoroughly enjoy the mutual learning experience that occurs during these mentorship relationships. As long as I have availability and have not already met my limit of commitments for your requested time period, I will gladly consider your clinical placement request. Please inquire at hello@playandsay.net.

While supervision and mentorship is a fun and rewarding journey, it’s also a serious endeavor. I expect assistant level providers and student clinicians to be prepared for real supervision that meets (and likely exceeds) the required minimums. I also expect the following from supervisees: open and honest communication, timeliness and preparedness, when you’ve gotten comfortable it’s time to learn something new, and operate with integrity and the highest ethical standards.
